The Pavilion Cafe is open from 8am to 4pm daily, serving breakfast, lunch, and hosting functions. The Pavilion is a vibrant and bustling cafe nestled within the renowned setting of The Feathers. Our establishment is dedicated to providing customers with a memorable and delightful experience, offering high-quality coffee, delectable food options, and top-notch service. The Feathers is a destination that prides itself on creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for visitors of all kinds.

**THE JOB**

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and people-focused Barista and Cafe all-rounder to join our team on a casual basis. Reporting to the Pavilion Manager, you will enjoy a dynamic role that ensures exemplary service, product and team cohesiveness. Availability to work day shifts over a 7-day roster is

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a range of coffee beverages with precision and attention to detail.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes meet our high standards.
- Take customer orders and handle payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe space, including equipment and workstations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- Proven experience as a barista, with an understanding of coffee brewing and latte art.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of and ability to maintain food safety and hygiene practices.
- Positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team.
