- To support our success and recent growth, Sedgman is seeking an experienced Procurement Advisor to join our team based in South Bank, Brisbane.
- Working with the Senior Procurement Advisor the key objectives of this role are to support the control and direction of the procurement function by ensuring goods, services and materials are purchased/engaged in accordance with requirements and arrive at the nominated destination in good condition, within budget and on time.**The role will involve the following**
**responsibilities.**
- Assist in the production of all commercial documentation for the compilation and issue of all tender, request for tender, and pricing documentation for all subcontracts.
- Issue approved documentation to nominated suppliers.
- Participate in the technical and commercial evaluation and recommendation of received tenders and quotes and the award of subcontracts.
- Assist in the preparation and administration of all subcontracts in accordance with the terms and conditions.
- Assist with the coordination and expediting of supply and subcontractor deliverables including inspection and auditing.
- Monitor and report to the Manager Procurement, internally driven changes to the scope of works for all contract packages within a project.
- Monitor and report to the Manager Procurement, procurement activities progress and program and implement corrective action as required.
- Manage relationships and ways of working with key vendors to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of goods/services that meet business requirements.
- Implement all subcontracts in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions.
- Administer the Vendor/Supplier/Contractor pre-qualification process, including organising meetings with potential new Suppliers.
- Ensure supplier contacts and details are updated and easily accessible in the Sedgman database.
- Under supervision, procure equipment, supplies, materials, services at the most favourable prices consistent with the desired quantity, quality, delivery and other factors.
- Ensure that documentation is completed, filed and auditable (accuracy, mínimal rectification required after checking).

To be successful in this role you will have 2 to 5 years in procurement and your background could be in manufacturing or any other industry that requires an ability to understand technical products and supplies. You will also be comfortable dealing with a diverse range of suppliers and stakeholders in our business.
