**Our Client**
With over 100 years of experience, our client is a global leader in the manufacture and maintenance of sub-systems for rail and commercial vehicles. Their state-of-the-art facility housed close to Derrimut (Western Suburbs) looks after the overhaul and manufacture of various rail equipment with a focus on braking, doors, HVAC, and related systems.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
This full-time, permanent role is responsible for the planning and supervision of ~10 trades completing assembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and related work to various rail sub-systems, equipment, and componentry.
- Coordinate and champion daily production and planning meetings
- Plan, allocate and coordinate resources (electricians, technicians, fitters etc.) to tasks according to requirements
- Supervise works carried out whilst ensuring safety, quality, and other requirements are met
- Oversee team and individual performance
- Investigate issues and implement improvements to product, safety, quality etc.

**Skills and Requirements**
- Engineering degree, diploma, or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical, Automotive, Manufacturing or similar
- Good understanding of how mechanical, electrical, and/or related systems work
- Experience supervising teams of trade or related personnel
- Good written and spoken English language skills
- Experience with ERP systems would be highly valuable (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc.)
- Experience within the heavy industry space would be beneficial (rail, automotive, defence, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas, aerospace etc.)
