- **Business Service**

**Business Service** provides corporate management of financial, asset and information resources - managing SAPOL’s physical assets including fleet, property and facilities; provision of financial, procurement and contract management services; creation, maintenance, storage and release of information; expiation notice processing for SAPOL and outside agencies; exhibit property management, and vehicle impounding.
- **Information Systems and Technology Service**

**The Information** **Systems and Technology Service** (IS&T) supports the operations of SAPOL through providing information and Communications Technology (ICT) advice and services in relation to security, architecture, business consulting, infrastructure and communications, software support and maintenance and project delivery. In addition to operational ICT management, IS&T sets the strategic direction and policies relating to the use of technology across SAPOL, including the adoption of new and emerging trends.

**People Culture and Wellbeing** provides a holistic approach to the future development of our people and the organisation. Through strategic leadership and direction, People Culture and Wellbeing will ensure our employees are skilled and supported to deliver a more efficient and effective service to the community. This will be achieved by increasing support to the frontline, ensuring the right people are in the right roles, developing talent pools and pipelines, delivering programs and strategies to foster highly effective leaders as well as providing collaborative business partnerships. Recognising that the capability of our workforce is dependent on the physical and mental health of all its members, People Culture and Wellbeing will deliver programs which provide an all-inclusive approach and promote every aspect of health and wellbeing.

The Executive Assistant (EA) is accountable to the Executive Director for the provision of high level, confidential secretarial, administrative and research support services thereby contributing to the achievement of Service objectives.

The EA will be required to strategically manage the plans, schedules and information flow for the Executive Director based on their goals and priorities.

This position will frequently liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including those who may have sensitive and confidential requirements, necessitating a high level of integrity and professionalism. Additionally, the position will require the collation of data and insights to provide sound recommendations, undertake project work, and assist with the broader deliverables of a small team that supports the Executive Director as required.

The incumbent must have a high level of stakeholder engagement and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Executive Assistant will demonstrate initiative and be able to proactively anticipate ahead, the needs of the Executive Director. Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, business acumen, highly organised with a strong focus on attention to detail, be resilient and highly adaptable, the ability to think laterally, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

The EA position will provide a significant contribution to the productivity and outcomes aligned to the respective Service area, Business Service, Information Systems and Technology Service, and People Culture and Wellbeing.

**Special Conditions**
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL’s iEngage program.

**Salary**

ASO4 - $75,430 - $79,070 per annum.
