Xplore Resources is professional services business in the exploration and mining sector. We provide services to major mining companies across Australia.

We are currently seeking Experienced Mineral Geologists for multiple clients commencing in 2023. We are looking for:

- Experienced mineral exploration geologists
- Experienced supervising exploration geologists

About the role

Xplore Resources are looking for experienced and passionate coal geologists to join the Xplore Resources team.

Positions are offered as:

- FIFO, Brisbane to Queensland based sites;
- DIDO, Hunter Valley

Key responsibilities will include:

- Geological logging and sampling
- Drill rig supervision and safety inspections
- Data validation and correlations
- Geophysical logging interpretation
- QAQC of drillhole data
- Underground mine geology
- Open cut mine geology

With current border restrictions, we require individuals to be based in their state of employment (or willing to relocate).

Skills and experience

A tertiary qualification in geology, team management skills and computer literacy are required. Enthusiasm, a pro-active attitude, a safety focus and previous experience with industry experience in similar role(s) will be well regarded..

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North Lakes QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Geological Degee (preferred)
