Altius Group, Australia's leading provider of health, safety, and wellbeing solutions, were looking for a WHS Consultant to join our growing team.
As a WHS Consultant, you will work with a diverse range of clients across various industries, using your expertise to help them understand and implement WHS priorities while managing the health, safety, and wellbeing of their employees. You will conduct on-site visits, review and analyze WHS management systems, deliver training to workers, managers, and executives, and collaborate with other Altius Group professionals to deliver targeted programs and interventions.
**As a WHS Consultant at Altius Group, you'll have the unique opportunity to**:
- Work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a wide range of industries to develop and implement innovative solutions that promote safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
- Conduct onsite visits to assess risk and provide tailored recommendations that drive positive change and improve outcomes for clients.
- Review and analyze WHS management systems, using your expertise to identify areas for improvement and develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, investigations, and assessments, including audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, to gain a deep understanding of client needs and facilitate effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other Altius Group professionals on key client projects, leveraging your skills and knowledge to develop targeted programs and interventions that reduce injury and risk.
- Write clear and concise reports that enable effective reporting and monitoring of progress, keeping clients informed every step of the way.
- Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to workers, managers, and executives, sharing your knowledge and passion for WHS to drive positive change in the workplace.
**About you**:
- Certificate 4 or Diploma in WHS
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or allied health background (desirable)
- At least 6 months experience working in work health & safety
- Drivers licence and car
- Ability to work independently and provide quality outcomes for our clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good report writing skills
- A desire to have fun in the workplace
**The following are a plus but by no means mandatory**:
- Tertiary WHS qualification’s in WHS or Allied Health Background
- Training Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor
- Completion of Lead Auditor (ISO45001:2018) training
- Completion of ICam Lead Investigator training
- Workers Compensation experience
