An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Legal Support function and contribute to the delivery of high quality legal administrative assistance.

The 'Float' role will support partners and legal practitioners across the Firm as needed, offering the ability to gain exposure to a wide variety of practice groups, clients and stakeholders.

The role will be well suited to an experienced Legal Assistant or Secretary who is capable of working both autonomously and in a team, and proficient with billing processes.

Key responsibilities

Liaising with clients and other stakeholders
File and matter management
Managing calendars and schedules
Company, property and title searches
Billing, time coding and reporting
Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation)
Assisting with events and business development activities

Required skills and personal attributes

Outstanding organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
