Gscp Supply Chain Lead

The role
The Supply Chain Lead will implement Saab Australia’s Global Supply Chain Program (GSCP) supply chain activities to contribute to contractual performance indicators as the key operational interface between Saab, other industry participants and the Commonwealth, identifying and facilitating expansion and development opportunities for Australian industry globally and working as the key interface at Saab Australia, global and industry events and meetings.
- Implement Saab Australia’s GSCP plan including activities, inputs into reporting and performance measurement
- Facilitate visits and meetings between Saab Australia, global Saab entities and Australian suppliers including at Saab-led events, trade shows, supplier days and government-managed events relating to the GSCP
- Implement the Stakeholder Communication and Engagement Plan (SC&EP) and provide support and input into the Saab web site, supplier portal and Industry Capability Network portal to maximise market knowledge of opportunities for Australian industry
- Identify and provide bid and development opportunities across Saab’s global supply chain (from Australia and overseas entities) for Australian suppliers
- Identify, assess and match Australian companies to identified opportunities using agreed Saab Australia and global processes and protocols
- Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and 9 day fortnight will be considered for this role._
About you
- Your skills and experience will include:_
- Extensive experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
- Understanding of contract law principles
- Good understanding of contractual requirements of large multi-discipline projects in an engineering, construction or Defence environment
- Experience in a commercial environment including contract preparation, administration and management of contractual relationships
- GSCP, Australian Industry Capability or other Defence industry program management
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants will be required to hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level or have the ability to gain one.
