Art Practitioner

**Art Practitioner **to support our participants living with disabilities to improve their artistic skillset.
- The role will operate within genU’s Community Participation division, which was established to facilitate innovative, client-centred programs with a focus on building skills that will assist in achieving our participant's goals
- As an
**Art Practitioner** you will support & coordinate support for Artists with disabilities focussing on developing their creative skill set. You will undertake & coordinate the development & implementation of individual and specific health plans. You will plan, conduct and review activities designed to increase social and community participation, and more

**Based in Frankston, this is a part-time, ongoing position.**

**About You**:
Our ideal** Art Practitioner **will have:

- Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities
- Commitment to learning and development
- Understanding of, and commitment to Workplace, Health and Safety principles
- Well established networks in the community
- Experience working with clients who have complex support needs
- Have the flexibility to work across several sites within the region

**You will need the following**:

- Certificate IV in Community Services (Disability) or equivalent
- First Aid Level II
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
- All applicants will be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Policy. You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccinations during the recruitment process.
