**Grade 3 Social Worker - Trauma / ICU**

**Royal Melbourne Hospital**
- Provide expert clinical skills, leadership and knowledge to the Trauma & Intensive Care units, including crisis intervention, risk assessment & Family Violence.
- Career progression opportunities across the organisation, supported and developed through our supervision program.
- Ongoing Part Time (0.8EFT, 64 hours per fortnight).

**Your New Role**
- Provide exemplary social work service and leadership in the Trauma & Intensive Care Units including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning.
- Foster positive team and workplace culture as a senior Social Worker and Lead in the multidisciplinary Trauma & ICU teams.
- Utilise specialised skills and knowledge in relation to relevant hospital and community providers, communicating between patients and caregivers.
- Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership.
- Actively lead and participate in Allied Health & Trauma quality improvement initiatives and research.

**About You**
- You are a qualified Social Worker, eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- You have demonstrated hospital experience with a collaborative leadership style.
- You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
- You value working with supportive and dedicated health professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
