**About the role**

As a Payment Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Subcontractor Payment Assurance team within Integrated Business Services. You will support the design, development of future operating model, business capability and lead/drive the implementation of Subcontractor payment strategy. You will build and manage a team of professionals, working closely with Financial shared services, Information Technology team, Systems Administrators, and Human Resources.

**What you’ll do**
- Planning and coordinating activities with both direct and indirect team members, as well as relevant stakeholders autonomously. This is crucial for achieving the desired outcomes and meeting the company’s objectives.
- Lead a newly created function (Payment Assurance) and stabilise operation from Projects to BAU
- Build a culture of growth mindset while driving change and maintain a high level of engagement within the team
- Lead and drive continuous improvement for Subcontractor Payment team through collaborative actions and be the catalyst of change in the Enterprise
- Effectively manage and reduce compliance-related risks across all practices. Implement robust risk management plan to ensure a compliant environment

- A successful track record of leadership experience, preferably with 5 years of leading a team of similar size.
- Success in working in finance and/or payroll administration.
- Excellent understanding of accounting/payroll processes with strong literacy and numeracy skills and ability to focus on both big picture as well as details.
- Identifying and driving process improvement initiatives. This is essential for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the payment processes.
- Natural ability to build effective relationships with direct team and key stakeholders in the business.
