**ABOUT GM³ and IMC**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role is a **Permanent **full-time position based at the GM3 office in the Brisbane CBD.

As the **Lead Payroll**, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and implementing the new GM³ Payroll system. Post-implementation, you'll lead and inspire the team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll outcomes. This role involves forging strong relationships with HR, the GM³ Sites, and external advisors to meet deadlines and achieve goals.

- Shape and influence customers experience and use of payroll services in operations and functions.
- Create the payroll team vision by promoting the HR strategic plan and targets.
- Contribute to the design and lead the implementation of the governance model for payroll systems and processes.
- Promote a culture of innovation, learning and development and continuous improvement.

**ABOUT YOU**

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within mining or heavy industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Australian payroll statutory and legislative requirements.
- Experience in leading process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to facilitate programs and activities across multiple sites and functional areas.
- Proficient in the use of variable payroll systems (preferably SAP)

- Relevant qualifications in Payroll, Human Resources or related disciplines
