**About Us**
The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is South Australia’s independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the _Environment Protection Act 1993_ (EP Act) and the _Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021_ (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.

**About the Role**
Work within a team of marine scientists to contribute to marine science programs or projects which may include working on small vessels and occasional duties underwater using SCUBA.

**Essential Qualification**
- A degree in Science or Environmental Science with a major in marine biology or similar
- A Coxswains certificate or the ability to obtain one
- Open water SCUBA certification and current medical clearance to dive

**Remuneration**
PO2 ($86,950 - $96,233 per annum) + 11% superannuation paid to your choice of super fund.
