Pine Rivers Private Hospital is looking for a Social Worker with passion for excellence in customer service delivery to join our team on a 4 day week, part-time basis. No weekend work required

**As a Social Worker your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide an excellent standard of evidence based and person centred assessment and treatment services to patients
- Providing guidance and information on family dynamics and community support services,
- Assisting those who require appropriate placement services.
- Advocate for the rights of patients and their families and carers and involve patients, their families and significant others to participate in care and goal setting.
- Act as a valued member of an interdisciplinary team to provide an excellent service by participating in family meetings, team meetings, committees and working parties as required, actively contributing to team processes and practices, and by liaising with other staff to create an experience that makes a difference;
- Liaise closely with the treating psychiatrist;
You will offer a broad range of psychotherapeutic groups and activities, some including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Psycho education, etc.

Located on the bank of the South Pine River, our 56 bed mental health facility provides comprehensive inpatient and day programs for our Queensland community. As a leading provider, we specialise in addiction, bipolar and depressive disorders, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD and complex PTSD management, psychosis and chronic pain management. We also deliver specialised therapies in EMDR, TMS and ECT.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work
- Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Ability to work autonomously
- Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation, time management and self-management skills
- Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within and provide leadership within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence based practice
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence desirable
