**About the role**
Glen Eira Leisure (GEL) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Aquatics Coordinator to join our team. As the Aquatics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the success of Glen Eira Leisure’s aquatics programs.

This vital role involves overseeing the GELSwim program, schools swimming program, and casual users and hirers of the aquatic areas within Glen Eira Leisure. You will ensure these programs and services are delivered safely and efficiently while meeting budgetary and strategic objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Team Coordination**:Overseeing the operations of the GELSwim and Aquatic Programs teams, ensuring they are well-managed, trained, and equipped to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- **Aquatic Oversight**: Overseeing the GELSwim program, schools swimming program, and casual users and hirers of the aquatic areas, ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.
- **Budget Management**: Developing, monitoring, and performing to budget, ensuring the financial health and sustainability of aquatics programs.
- **Strategic Planning**:Developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic plan for the GELSwim program and related services, aligning with Glen Eira Leisure’s overall goals and objectives.
- **Safety and Compliance**:Ensuring all programs and services are offered in a safe environment for customers and staff, with a strong emphasis on OH&S and regulatory guidelines.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Demonstrated commitment and adherence to organisational values and behaviours.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or related field OR less formal qualifications with substantial relevant experience.
- Experience in the management and roll out of aquatic programs, strategies and initiatives.
- Strong Leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop team members.
