Early Start Australia Toowong is a fully equipped, mostly clinic-based team that learns together and plays together

Early Start Australia is a national multidisciplinary allied health organisation committed to delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services and supports to children and their families.

As a Team Leader, you will provide clinical leadership to empower a passionate team, supporting clinicians of all levels to drive a culture of excellence and facilitate best practice. You will continue to support clients with a manageable clinical caseload, whilst providing leadership to the team using your skills and expertise to develop others.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a clinical team leader your duties will include, but not limited to:

- Manage a discipline specific caseload
- Provide leadership and clinical supervision and support the development of clinical skills and knowledge
- Support the clinical team and oversee activity to achieve best practice, quality and compliance and KPI's
- Development of clinic resources to ensure best practice standards and ongoing continuous quality improvement
- Escalate and provide feedback to the Practice Principal and Regional Manager, at both a local and national level regarding the needs of the team

**Skills and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology OR Occupational Therapy
- 5 years minimum clinical experience
- Experience as a Team Leader preferred but not essential
- Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Compliance - SPA Registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate, First Aid Training, Driver’s License & Vehicle
