Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor

An exciting opportunity exists for a high-performing, self-motivated team player to work across a number of early childhood policy and program areas in the South-Western Victoria Region of the Department of Education and Training. This position will be located in the Department's Footscray office and will work as part of a multidisciplinary, area-based team that is building the capabilities of early childhood service providers and focused on delivering improved outcomes for children in Western Melbourne.
The successful applicant will have strong relationship management and communication skills. The Early Childhood Performance and Planning Advisor role requires collaboration within the team and across areas to deliver key early childhood reforms. Working in the area of early childhood service provision it will be an advantage to have experience in early childhood education and care. Relevant tertiary qualifications in early childhood or a related field are desirable. Previous experience in any of the early childhood portfolio areas is highly desirable.
