TCorp’s Financial Markets (FM) division is the centre of FM expertise for NSW, acting as the State’s Central Financing Authority, funding and managing the NSW debt portfolio, providing financial solutions and enabling local governments to access appropriate debt and investment products. The Local Government Services (LGS) team provides lending to the local government sector within the parameters approved by the State of NSW and TCorp.

The Analyst, LGS will provide support to senior members of the LGS team across credit analysis, client relationship management and business development while ensuring all applicable TCorp policies, procedures and processes are applied.

Working in partnership with TCorp’s Credit Risk, Legal and FM Operations teams, and key external stakeholders including the Office of Local Government (OLG) and NSW Treasury, the Analyst will be accountable for assisting with the management of local council clients and assisting with driving business opportunities with those clients.

With the support of the Head of LGS, the Analyst will be expected to develop an understanding of the TCorpIM Funds, as local councils may choose to invest in those funds at their discretion. Providing investment advice is not part of this role. The Analyst may also provide support across the broader Financial Markets division, as required. Regular intra-state travel to support senior team members meeting with local councils, is an inherent component of the role. Availability and willingness to undertake travel, together with a current driver licence, are essential.
