**The Opportunity**
The Compliance Coordinator works collaboratively with Operational leaders to process various compliance notifications to the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority. This role is responsible in ensuring high quality information is provided within the required timeframes. This role will also oversee feedback, follow up to ensure tasks are completed and collaborate with other departments to address centre compliance issues within the designated timeframes.
This role is Full-Time on a 12month contract.
**Your day-to-day**
No two days are the same; this role is diverse, with depth and breadth to cement your career, now and into the future. Areas of core responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Collaboratively work within the centralised G8 Education external notification process and procedures to ensure high quality and timely notifications are made to the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority, via the Departments portal.
- Ensure Department notifications, compliance breaches and Service Approval Waivers are processed in a timely manner, while tracking follow up and finalisation activities through to completion.
- Review the details of draft notification information, feedback and breach responses and support Operational Leaders in improving the quality of details provided to prevent future re-work.
- Maintain records for each Centre regarding notifications, breaches and Service Approval Waivers to enable access and retrieval.
- Review feedback provided from the Department and coordinate any follow-up requests regarding further information, evidence or documentation.
- Identify common issues, causes and themes for all notification activities to support escalation and enable continuous improvement and preventive activities to be more proactively addressed across G8 Education operations
- Submit Quality Improvement Plans and process Assessment and Rating feedback to the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority.
- Review the quality and integrity of Quality Improvement Plans and formal feedback provided prior to submission to the Department
- Monitor feedback provided to the Department and process reminders to ensure Centres implement agreed continuous improvement activities.
**About You**

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years sector management experience
- Experience within a highly regulated sector, preferably the Early Education Sector.
- Demonstrated experience undertaking detailed root cause analysis and critical reflection to support continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively leading risk assessment and adverse event incident.
- Highly organised with an ability to manage competing priorities within tight timeframes.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
