**About Us**
- Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean and Blue Mountains and Lithgow Region.
- Hawkesbury District Health Service is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW, providing acute, community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. The service provides 24-hour emergency, medical, surgical, diagnostic, maternity, neonatal, paediatric, palliative, intensive and coronary care services.
The Security Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Security Department including supervision, rostering and payroll of Health and Security Assistant (HASA)/Security staff and to provide proactive security risk management across Hawkesbury Hospital.

**What you will bring to the role**:

- Tertiary qualification in Health Management and/or a related field equivalent experience.
- Current Class 1A NSW Security Licence and First Aid Certificate.
- Extensive experience in managing security services demonstrating excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution and communication skills.
- Demonstrated sound organisational skills and experience using databases, document software and rostering systems. Problem solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop security policies, staff training programs, security awareness programs, risk minimisation strategies and monitor their effectiveness. Along with working knowledge of security systems, CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management, staff and other key stakeholders with the ability to provide sound advice and make recommendations regarding security services.
- Consistently demonstrates with all stakeholders behaviours that reinforce the CORE values of NSW Health
- Current Drivers licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
