**Full Job Description**

**ELICOS Teachers needed for Central Brisbane location. Immediate start available**

We are currently on the look-out for talented ELICOS teachers to join the team at our well-renowned school in Brisbane 4000.

These positions are part-time or full-time, on a casual basis, initially. Longer-term, sessional contracts may be offered to those showing professional seriousness and commitment to standards.

**What qualifications are needed?**
- a recognised first degree, or diploma, of at least three years’ full-time equivalent
- a relevant TESOL qualification eg; CELTA, Trinity Cert TESOL, Cert IV in TESOL, or other recognised qualification that contains TESOL as a method.

**How much experience is required?**

**Role**: ELICOS Teacher

**Daily/weekly tasks include**:

- **Plan **_**:

- **_prepare, deliver, evaluate and review curricula, syllabi and lessons.
- **Deliver -** deliver engaging and enjoyable lessons, using a range of methods, techniques and materials.
- **Monitor -** Monitor, accurately record, and report individual learner progress. Provide intervention strategies, where relevant.
- **Test - **set, invigilate, mark, accurately record, and report tests, formative and summative.
- **Monitor - **monitor, accurately record, and report student attendance.
- **Counsel**_**-**_ undertake academic student counselling as specified.
- **Complete -** accurately complete all administration tasks in compliance with the ESOS Framework; National Code Standards; and National ELICOS Standards.
- **Be collegial **_**-**_ develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with students, your fellow teachers, senior staff and management as well as other relevant stakeholders.
- **Develop professionally **_**-**_ commit seriously to continuous improvement by attending/participating in PD offerings, peer observation and formal evaluation and appraisal.
