**About the Role**
You will lead, through architectural assurance, new and enhanced NAS services offerings as initiated through the value chain aligned to customer outcomes.
You will continue to review industry trends to ensure changes in technology and delivery methods are captured and included in the portfolio planning processes to optimise investment, reduce the risk of technology debt, and support business transformation to improve product and service outcomes.

Specific duties will include:

- Lead the development of comprehensive architecture artefacts
- Work with program and project teams to ensure realisation of the agreed NAS architectures and ensure that all relevant architecture artefacts within the EA repository are updated
- Lead, develop, and influence the delivery of comprehensive NAS architecture artefacts
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand business drivers and NAS capabilities (current and future state)
- Assess initiatives and proposals against Airservices EA principles, standards, patterns, capabilities, strategic initiatives, and requirements.
- Perform capability assessments to evaluate baseline and target capability maturity levels to identify potential areas of impact to the NAS through the deployment of target architectures.

**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualified in Engineering or commensurately experienced.
- Required to hold registration as a Professional Engineer in a relevant area of engineering in accordance with relevant legislation e.g., Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) A
- Must be Australian citizen and have Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance or the ability to obtain.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering architecture designs for complex and business critical operational systems.
- Deep understanding of operational platforms in a safety critical industry and the ecosystem in which they operate.
- Develop models and plans to drive the execution of the business strategy, taking advantage of opportunities to improve business and system performance.
