Our client is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to addressing unmet needs across rural and regional communities. They endeavour to provide high quality disability support and support people experiencing a range of community hardships.
**The Role**:
We are recruiting for a NDIS Support Scheduler.
They will work as part of a small team to coordinate and optimise the available workforce by utilising rostering and scheduling systems to best meet participant requirements and to promote a sustainable workforce.
This is a **permanent,** full time role and is based in **Logan Central.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Organise, prepare and maintain rosters for a team of Lifestyle Support Workers to meet the support needs of NDIS participants.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Participants and their Carers and Families, Lifestyle Support Workers and Service Managers.
- Ensure all rosters adhere to the requirements under the relevant employment legislation by understanding and interpreting applicable industrial relations awards, agreements and rostering rules.
**To Be Successful**:
- Relevant qualifications in Administration, Business, Community Services or Disability **and/or** significant experience in a high volume rostering position. _Rostering in a NDIS or Aged Care setting is highly desirable._
- Experience and understanding of the SCHADS Award.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use databases, including client scheduling systems and Microsoft Office suite. _Experience using VisiCase is highly desirable._
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Current QLD Drivers License.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain).
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- Oncall Component (Once a week every three weeks).
**Salary and Benefits**:
