Sydney, Australia NSW Teaching Service Full time

**Position Information**:
Meadowbank Public School is located in the inner west of Sydney, NSW, on the traditional land of the Wallumedegal people. Our school fosters an inclusive and supportive learning environment, emphasising collaborative curriculum planning to address the diverse needs of our students. Currently, our school serves a growing population of 700 students, with 88% of our students identified as EAL/D (English as an Additional Language or Dialect).

Recently, Meadowbank Public School relocated to a new site as part of the Meadowbank Educational and Employment Precinct, designed to accommodate an anticipated enrolment of 1,000 students. Our newly established support unit includes our first MC (Multi-Categorical) class, which was established in 2023, and a Support Class for Autism, which was established in 2024. A second MC class will be established in 2025. Our support classes are formed based on assessed student needs, rather than a fixed provision, ensuring that support structures are integrated within the whole school setting.

The Assistant Principal for Inclusion and Support plays a crucial role within our highly collaborative and cohesive executive team. As a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school, we strive to maintain high expectations and a positive culture. Our community actively engages in a three-way partnership among parents, staff, and students to promote a thriving educational environment.
