CGC Recruitment is a specialist recruiter in the construction, engineering, property and design space.
**The Company**:
This tier 1 civil contractor have a requirement for a Project Administrator to start start immediately in Seven Hills to support the plant department.
**The Role**:
Provide administrative support to the plant department, which typically includes tasks such as monthly customer billing, CAPEX administration and monthly profit and loss preparation. Including the maintenance of financial records; compiling of reports; the processing and completion of forms, stakeholder communications; organisation of team travel; and support as required.
- Provide administration support to employees at the Plant Services Rail East at Rutherford, Seven Hills and Crestmead.
- Maintain project filing and database systems, storing information accurately
- Assist the day-to-day operations of the office
- Prepare monthly plant hire and project support charges and issue invoices
- Co-ordinate and prepare miscellaneous income as required
- Reconcile revenue monthly and prepare end of month profit and loss reports
- Review capital work in process, prepare asset movement forms and send to head office for processing
- Provide customer service to the client, external vendors, subcontractors, and community stakeholders as required
- Work Closely with the Plant Finance & Systems Manager with EOM reporting and other revenue related tasks
- Perform all duties in accordance with JH policies, processes, reporting, systems and procedures
- Upload Work orders for Rail East Coast Plant services - North into POP (Plant Operations Portal) and complete work orders.
- Prepare, format, review financial reports as required e.g. Purchase order register, labour report, Work Order Review and RBNI
- Compile and submit a Workplace WHS & Rail Safety Valuation report to JHG Safety team
- Assist in the creation and preparation of correspondence, documents, reports, presentations, and/or publications relevant to the project’s operations
**Skills & Experience**:
- 2-4 years’ experience in an office environment
- Administration and document management practices
- Use of databases
- High School certificate or equivalent administrative experience
- Exposure to finance month end process
