**About the Company**

Davidson are currently working with a state government client who are seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator.

**About the Role**

This role will provide administration support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team with the management of workers compensation claims and injury / illness health case management. This role will be reporting to the Principal Consultant.
- Workers’ compensation and rehabilitation and return to work case management.
- Triaging Incident Reports and Incident Investigation Reports, including calling injured or ill health workers, their managers and other contacts as required to ensure the safety of the worker.
- Updating and maintaining injury management and incident reporting spreadsheets.
- Arranging quotes and managing payment of invoices.
- Arranging ergonomic assessments.
- Following up medical certificates with injured workers.
- Data collation and analytics for reporting purposes.
- Responding to internal queries in relation to the corporate health program and the employee assistance program.
- Provide sound rehabilitation and return to work coordinator advice and case management services to ill and injured workers, including maintaining case files and managing records in accordance with the Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation Act 2003, including statutory reporting.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders (e.g. HR, Payroll, Finance) regarding work and non-work-related injuries / illnesses to determine appropriate management action as required;
- Liaising with external stakeholders such as WorkCover, QSuper, medical and legal practitioners and occupational service providers; and
- Actively participate as a member of the Health Safety and Wellbeing team.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience working within a rehabilitation, return to work role.
- Must have strong administration and attention to detail.
- Previous experience working in government and/or in a health, safety and wellbeing environment is desirable.
- Strong communication both written and verbal.
- Certification, or ability to be certified, as a Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator would be beneficial.
