**Your new role**

As Procurement Transformation Manager, you will lead and execute the program of work to review, design and implement the transformation of the procurement framework and function across the organisation, in line with the scope of work and prioritised improvements outlined in the Procurement Transformation Plan, and which aligns to the procurement vision articulated in the plan.
- Create a comprehensive procurement framework that aligns with modern practices. This framework will enable procurement to contribute to the organisation's strategic goals and operational needs.
- Evaluate the existing framework and enhance it by formulating policies, refining processes, and documenting procedures across the organisation.
- Facilitate engagement, partnerships, and change management efforts to seamlessly integrate the new framework and practices throughout the organisation.
- Coordinate and lead various work streams to ensure alignment between organisational strategies, procurement vision, policies, and stakeholder requirements.
- Provide valuable advice and insights to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and value of procurement activities.
- Develop and manage strategies, plans, and priorities for both short-term and long-term transformation objectives. Identify and address risks and issues that could impact project success.
- Foster collaboration and alignment with stakeholders regarding initiatives, objectives, and proposed solutions.
- Leverage analytics, insights, and reporting to inform priorities, facilitate decision-making, and measure progress and benefits. Additionally, embed governance, probity, and regulatory requirements within the framework.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive experience managing procurement at a senior level
- Demonstrated experience delivering procurement transformation projects
- Expertise in developing and implementing procurement policies
- Understanding of government procurement and NSW Local Government framework would be advantageous
