AccessEAP is an Australian-owned provider with over 25 years of experience assisting customer organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

They partner with customers to co-develop tailored programs to improve workplace mental health and well-being, in an increasingly changing and psychologically complex environment.

**Role Summary**:
This brand-new role is joining a fast-paced organisation focused on working in workplaces to build strong and resilient communities.

As a Content & Communications Specialist, you will research content and industry trends, develop, and maintain the communications plan, and create meaningful content for a variety of channels. You will work closely with many stakeholder groups within the business to ensure that the content is engaging and consistent across all media platforms. You will also drive media and communication that will promote the work AccessEAP does with its customers and philanthropic partners.

This role requires an energetic and strategic professional with communications experience, who can work independently, and be well organised but also enjoy the challenge of working with a diverse team of people. You will work alongside the Branding and Communications Officer and be managed by the Brand and Communications Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspire and utilise your creative skills to work collaboratively with a team dedicated and driven to deliver on the brand strategy during a time of change
- Research content and industry trends to ensure content is engaging and relevant
- Work with the Brand and Communications Manager to develop a communications plan to effectively reach target groups and marketing objectives
- Manage a content calendar and ensure content remains consistent across all platforms
- Activate AccessEAPs PR opportunities and drive media outreach
- Work with the Branding and Communications Officer to develop an online presence including website, e-communications, and social media
- Create content through blog, website, newsletter, media, case studies, promotional materials
- Copywriter for the brand and communications team covering a range of initiatives
- Interview key stakeholders within the business and customers to develop engaging content
- Tracking content analytics and generating reports to feedback to the business on progress

**Key Skills**:

- Tertiary qualifications in public relations, communication, journalism or related professional field
- Experience developing and implementing PR and Communications strategy
- Ability to plan, write, edit, and produce content across multiple channels
- In-depth understanding of media and can manage media contacts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in pitch writing and interviewing for a story
- Strong relationship-building skills with employees, customers and the media
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Demonstrate adaptability and confidence to work for an organisation undergoing transformational change
- A desire and passion to work for a non-profit organisation
