**Your new role awaits**:
The National Payroll Manager is responsible for leading the overall Payroll Function which consists of Processing of Payrolls, Audits and Compliance in accordance with Legislation and the implementation of new enhancements and processes.

The role is also responsible for the learning & development of the Payroll Team, successful execution of payroll initiatives and will embrace and contribute to Shared Service team activities whilst also supporting various departments by delivering a high level of customer service.

**About you**:

- Minimum 5 years demonstrated payroll management experience overseeing a large payroll function.
- Experience processing leave entitlements, termination payments, worker’s compensation, redundancies, superannuation, and tax and payroll deductions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll legislation, leave practices and award interpretation.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the ability to take the lead and/or initiative to drive positive outcomes. Self-managed.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience testing and implementation of pay rules and associated systems.
- Delegation and the empowerment of Payroll Team.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
