**The role**:
The Executive Officer is a contributing member of the General Manager’s leadership team providing advice, guidance and support to the team. The role is the first point of contact for customers, stakeholders and employees on matters that are referred to the General Manager. The Executive Officer will require strong judgement and astute decision-making skills to determine which matters need to be delegated to other stakeholders.

The Executive Officer will be a value adding colleague and trusted confidant of the General Manager and will possess the confidence and capability to navigate the competing demands within the group being pre-emptive in anticipating their needs in advance. The position will require a mature, calm approach and someone who possesses strong relationship skills to effectively manage the breadth of interaction with key stakeholders, both internal and external to South East Water. This is a full-time, permanent position.

- Hold the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
- Previous experience supporting events would be advantageous.
