**PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER**
**PART-TIME, FIXED TERM CONTRACT, TERM 3, 2023 START
Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and energetic early childhood educator to join
our dynamic Pre-school team, commencing Term 3, 2023.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

children in our five day group. This is a part-time position working Tuesday to Friday for a
total of 27 hours per week on a fixed term contract from 17 July to 15 September 2023.

and other teachers. You are committed to continual professional development and
reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**

- A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree or similar as approved by the Australian
Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA). A Certificate III with experience
in additional needs and inclusion support will be highly regarded.

- NESA Proficient Teacher accreditation to teach in New South Wales
- Demonstrated and perceptive understanding of the role of evidence in informing

teaching and learning
- Experience in digital documentation and journals
- Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, the Education

and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework, and the Early
Years Learning Framework

- A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural
incident

- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
- A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when

engaging with children.
Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be
advantageous.
