**About the Role**

Reporting to the Blasting Supervisor, you will join a highly motivated team and learn all aspects of the role to ensure delivery of a quality blasting services to the Newmont Boddington Gold open pit mining area.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting with on bench activities, barricading, delineation, priming, loading, stemming, off-siding and operating MPU’s.
- Checking drill hole depths are accurate.
- Performing blast guard duties prior to blasting activity.
- Ensuring documentation is accurate and to a high standard for Newmont’s records.
