Downer has been selected to take part in a national programme delivering design and construction of Node to Premises (N2P) technology for our client, the National Broadband Network. Increasing the footprint of the existing fibre network will allow more Australians to realise the benefits of reliable, high speed internet connections. Design and Construction activities have already commenced in WA.

Your role as a** Project Coordinator **is state based and will support** WA **from our** Canning Vale **office. You will be responsible for coordinating design and construction activities and supporting the project support manager in delivering the program in the region. This includes the provision of varied project duties, such as coordinating delivery activities, preparing reports, coordinating information between the field and management, updating project records, and assisting in the development of improved workflows and processes.

This is a support function and requires a strong focus on coordinating multiple activities on a daily basis and supporting the Project Team with their PCM’s.

**ABOUT YOU**

We are looking for a full-time resource who is an excellent multi-tasker, can manage conflicting priorities, likes a challenge and genuinely enjoys working with others. You will be versatile and willing to learn outside your comfort zone combined with a strong and persistent approach to resolving problems at a detailed level to meet project requirements.
- Proven project coordination experience in a multi-disciplinary project team within a large organisation
- Experience in Telecommunications projects and coordination of Project Management Office (PMO) operations environments
- Understanding of Lean 5s
- Experience in systems and process improvement
- Skilled in generating reports from disparate data sets
- Ability to perform and contribute within a team environment, combined with strong interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to organise and prioritise own workload with a strong attention to detail
- Flexibility within role being able to adjust to any given task or situation
