**About the role**

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Sports Turf Management students at our Kurri Kurri Campus

As a Teacher of Sports Turf Management, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education and training to students aspiring to excel in the field of sports turf management. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and delivering engaging curriculum content that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
- Facilitating hands-on learning experiences and practical training sessions to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the industry.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their professional and personal development.
- Collaborating with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure program relevance and currency.
- Participating in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of advancements in sports turf management practices and technologies.
- Contributing to the overall academic and administrative functions of the department and TAFE NSW.

**About You**

To be successful in the role you will:

- Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
- Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

- Current chemical user accreditation
- First aid certification
