**Our Branch and Team**
Corporate Finance ensures Council’s financial sustainability by managing budget development, debt, financing and cashflow activities, corporate financial reporting, corporate advice and financial analysis and financial risk management.

You will be joining a small team of treasury and accounting professionals within the Corporate Finance branch. You will be immersed into a supportive work environment, with a high performance culture.

**The Role**
As a Financial and Banking Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing Council’s corporate banking function, including the monitoring and management of key transactional banking and payment channel contracts.

**General job tasks will include**:

- monitor and manage Council’s banking processes including various payment channels
- provide advice on project management, tenders and procurement processes
- manage banking and payment channel contracts including contract variations and extensions
- manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including banking counterparties, payment channel providers and Payment Card Industry Data Security standards (PCI DSS) assessors
- manage PCI DSS annual audit and ensure all processes comply with Council policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements
- Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, to resolve any payment issues and ensure efficient communication channels are in place
- identifying new products and services to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.

**To be successful you will have**:

- exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- strong interpersonal skills
- demonstrated ability to proactively engage with and manage internal and external relationships, including banking counterparties
- strong understanding of banking and payment platforms and IT systems experience within corporate treasury or banking environment
- knowledge of PCIDSS compliance framework would be desirable.
