**Pathology Collector Grade 2**

Fixed-Term and Ongoing, Part-Time roles - Multiple Positions Available
- (casual opportunities also considered)
- Outpatients Pathology is a fast paced department providing specimen collection services for Peter Mac patients. Pathology Collectors in the department are responsible for collection of specimens and taking ECG with future opportunities to attend to advanced skills in the area of intravenous cannulation. Shifts are varied and include collections of blood from patients in the inpatient setting. The department sees up to 200 patients a day, with a combined workforce of Registered Nurses and Pathology Collectors.
- To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection
- 12 Months experience with blood collection
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Commitment to flexible working hours
- Cannulation skills desirable
