**The Organisation**
Our client is a peak membership-based body working collaboratively with individuals, organisations and community members at a state and national level supporting organisations that provide mental health services, programs, and support to extensive sectors of our community. They influence community attitudes, policy, advocacy, and development for the benefit of all Western Australians.
**The Role**
This role will suit an individual who enjoys working closely within a team to achieve favourable outcomes for an engaged member and community support network. Working for the greater good.
You will do this by:
- Producing accurate **communications** content and messages for advocacy, sector development, training, special projects, and the executive team in line with the communications policy.
- Monitor, evaluate, maintain correct content across multiple **websites, social media** platforms, publicity materials, press releases and membership communications.
- **Support and develop** staff as they improve their external communication tools and attend events.
- Guide and support delivery of** projects **during dedicated mental health promotion weeks**.**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with** members **through promotion of benefits, supporting events, pertinent communication, and facilitation of a membership survey.
- Actively engaging in professional and cultural development opportunities.
**You**
Previous skills include:
- Formal experience or qualifications in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills combined with strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent ability to write communication that is engaging, demonstrating creativity and flair.
- Highly developed time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- High level of literacy in information management, communication and design technologies including Microsoft, website, and design software packages.
