Principal Finance Officer

**Responsibilities of the role**:
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the Finance and Records team to ensure it supports the OHO to meet its strategic objectives and legislative requirements.
- Lead the organisation's strategic and operational budget planning, financial management, and internal and external reporting processes.
- Provide information, analysis and advice on organisational and business unit financial and budgetary performance, financial management, and procurement processes.
- Lead and manage the records management function to ensure high quality service delivery, compliance with relevant records management standards and legislation, and effective performance of record management tools and systems.
- Provide professional direction, guidance, and assistance to team members on policy and operational matters to maximise efficiency and effectiveness of activities.
- Ensure maintenance of operational policies, procedures, and practices that support financial, administration, and records management in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Lead and coordinate liaison with external stakeholders to manage issues regarding building lease and facilities maintenance
- Maintain a continuous improvement focus and provide input into the development and implementation of improvements and quality assurance processes across the division.
