The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) is looking for a Manager, Digital Portfolio & Architecture to join our team

You will be joining the recently established Digital Team, the team is central to SIRA’s 2025 priority of becoming an intelligence-led, risk-based regulator that will deliver improved outcomes for the people of NSW.

This role is a unique balance between designing the SIRA digital architecture, through to managing the delivery of the plan. If you like to see your designs come to life, this maybe the role for you.

SIRA is at the forefront of digital regulation, you will be working with the world leading NSW Data Analytics Centre and the NSW Department of Customer Service to deliver digital capabilities to our staff and customers.

**About Us**

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits more specifically in our Digital Team.

Recently established, this team manages, maintains, and improves the digital platforms, products and cyber security at SIRA.

SIRA is a cloud first agency and is developing on a modern technology stack (Salesforce, React, Snowflake, Talend, Atlassian and Amazon Connect).

The Digital team is responsible for several customer facing products which are critical to the people of NSW.
- Green Slip price check, used by over 2.7M people per year to compare CTP premiums.
- Home Building Compensation Check used to determine if a property has home building compensation cover.
- Point to Point integration which levies CTP premiums for rideshare trips.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Lead the development of the technology architecture.
- Provide oversight to a portfolio of projects, identify interdependencies and drive technology standardisation.
- Developing and maintaining processes, procedures, and tools to enable continuous and agile delivery, and to ensure effective portfolio governance.
- Develop and manage the implementation of digital roadmaps, aligned with the ICT and business strategy.
- Drive an improvement in Cyber Security through oversight of the portfolio and architecture design.
- Drive innovation in regulation through strategic partnerships in the private and public sector.
