**About You**:

**About the Role**:
An exciting opportunity is presented to work within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network as a Visiting Medical Specialist within the Women and Children's Division.
- As a Visiting Medical Specialist within the Family Advisory Unit, you will be:
- responsible for managing the care of all patients allocated to you in collaboration with the responsible Resident Medical Officers, Registrars, Nurses and Allied Health professionals.
- responsible for the running of the NALHN family advisory unit (FAU) including consulting counselling clients and performing surgical termination of pregnancy.
- involved in Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
- involved in continuing education activities.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Health Visiting Medical Specialists Enterprise Agreement 2012 (or its successor).
