**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Corporate Admin Services **team as a** Outpatient Administrative Assistant, **where you will be responsible for:

- Providing administrative support to the Nursing Unit Managers and other professional staff members as directed by the Administrative Manager, Surgical Services.
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team contributing to the service excellence provided by WCHN facility users, including staff, patients, and students.
- Coordinating patient admissions.
- Facilitating equipment and stationary ordering.
- Booking patient follow-up appointments and updating patient demographics.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
- Demonstrated initiative and good organisational skills, ability to set priorities, work under pressure and undertake some problem solving with limited assistance
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in an administration type role
