**Role Details**

The Executive Officer is a role within Office of the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE)and is accountable to the Deputy Chief Executive for:

- Providing high-level liaison, secretarial and administrative support service to the Deputy Chief Executive and Executives within the Office of the DCE.
- Organising and providing support to high-level strategic meetings, committees, boards and activities of the directorates within the Office of the DCE.
- Providing leadership to the Executive and administration services function across the directorate of the DCE by guiding, coordinating and consolidating briefings and responses to information requests for the Office of the DCE.
- Undertaking projects, research, reports and analysis that contribute to the delivery and maintenance of high functioning executive office.

**Special Conditions**

National Police Check required.
Some out of hours work may be required.
Relevant qualifications in business, administration or other relevant field is desirable.
**About the Business**

Community Investment and Support is responsible for the provision of many vital services to the South Australian public to help build stronger and better-connected communities. The division provides screening of those who work with children or vulnerable people, as well as procurement of goods and services for the department, including important social services from the not-for profit sector.

The division also provides grants and commissions services to promote economic participation, as well as a range of concessions to the community, and interpreting and translating services to both public and private organisations.

**Role Status**: Term up to 29/08/2025

**Salary Range**: $97,022-$102,626 (ASO6)
