The Program Manager - Disaster Resilience is a key community support position with responsibility for actioning the Community Resilience Action Plan to ensure the Central Coast is equipped to prevent, withstand and recover from events which impact our communities and diverse natural environment.

The role offers the opportunity for high level engagement with local communities and stakeholders, leading strategic projects which place the needs of each community at their core.

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

**Key activities of this role include**:

- Spend time in our various communities understanding the unique needs and challenges faced at a local level, assisting those communities to design local resilience action plans;
- Build strong relationships with a wide range of local, state and federal stakeholders to facilitate knowledge exchange and cooperation;
- Lead project teams leveraging a structured project management methodology to ensure project objectives are delivered upon.

**_About You:_**
- Ideally you are degree qualified in Community Development or a related field, bringing sound experience in strengths-based community development and program management;
- You have excellent project management skills to ensure time-lines and budgets are managed effectively, and stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle;
- Your strong analytical and reporting skills ensure you can synthesise information from a variety of sources and provide sound recommendations to the business;
- You are calm under pressure and don't mind juggling multiple projects and pivoting in response to changing needs and demands associated with this type of role.

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $92.1k to $110.5k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 10.5% superannuation + vehicle allowance of $165 per week ($8,580 per annum)

A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role** **with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available.
