**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The Holmesglen English Language Centre (HELC) provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment, with growing student numbers. The Centre is currently creating a pool of casual teachers.

**Position Status**: Casual
**Employment Rate**: $82.01 - $88.60 p/h +10.5 % Superannuation
**Location**: Chadstone campus
**WWCC**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining a Working with Children Check.
**Police Check**: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining a Police Check.

**ABOUT YOU**

As a teacher in the Holmesglen English Language Centre, you will:

- Deliver high-quality, innovative and engaging English language training.
- Monitor, evaluate and assess student English language progression and successful course completion.
- Work as part of a team, sharing teaching ideas and approaches.
- Contribute to the development of learning and assessment resources.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE 40116 OR Certificate IV TAE 40110 including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 and relevant vocational qualification.
- Bachelor degree with a TESOL method or post graduate TESOL qualifications, including a supervised teaching practicum of at least 22 days
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and written and verbal communications skills.
- The ability to work as a self-directed member of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records.
