We are seeking a qualified Payroll Supervisor for a leadership role within our team, assuming responsibility for two Senior Payroll Officers and reporting into the Payroll Manager.
This position is based in Artarmon, Sydney, and has the potential to work in a hybrid arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:
- End to end processing of monthly payroll.- Weekly and fortnightly payroll coverage if Senior Payroll Officer is on leave.- Reviewing weekly and fortnightly payrolls.- On-going maintenance of payroll system as applicable.- Updating and maintaining payroll records.- Liaising with staff and management on payroll related queries.- Maintaining leave, sickness, and overtime records.- Interpreting awards/contracts/EAs in relation to overtime, shift penalties etc.- Undertaking required reporting, both internal and statutory.- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum ten (10+) years full function experience in payroll in a medium to large organisation (employees on payroll >1000)- Miniumum three (3) years’ experience in supervising teams.- Preceda payroll system experience is desirable.- Knowledge of Workday is desirable, but not essential.- Good understanding of payroll legislation and required processes (i.e. tax and superannuation).- Strong attention to detail.- Good written and oral communication skills.
