Young Henrys is seeking a full time Events Coordinator to manage the wide variety of events and functions occurring within the Brewery premises and outside events and pop-ups that take place through our busy event calendar.

The duties will include;

Parties for wedding receptions, corporate meetings

Organising and becoming familiar of the spaces for party size.

Arranging tiered packages for food and drinks.

Prepare quotes and proposals

Managing and planning event schedule with clients

Maintain customer focus, presenting event in a timely manner that meets clients needs and is beneficial to internal need of the company.

Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage a re-book

Ability to multitask in a calm and efficient way.

Excellent organisation skills

Greeting guests and overlooking the event to ensure everything runs smoothly

Seek out new opportunities for event bookings

Ability to work under high pressure situations

Understanding the expectation of venue management

Keep an organised database of events past present and future

Coordinating materials for each function and keep track of inventory used

Manage work across the supporting team

Ideally you will have previous experience with a craft brewery and familiarity over the types of functions that we operate. Either a qualification in Event Management or 3 years experience is required for this role.

The position is full time, and will attract a base salary of $70,000 to $75,000.
