**The Position**

**St John of God Hawkesbury District Health Service **is a teaching hospital in Windsor NSW providing acute community and allied health services for the local community and surrounding districts. Our healthcare facility is operated by St John of God Health Care and provides public patient services under a public-private partnership with the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.

Our hospital is seeking a **Medical Records Clerk** to join our records team on a casual basis to support our hospital services.

The **Medical Records Clerk** is responsible for the day-to-day clerical functions of the medical record service, which supports the provision of quality patient care. This will include maintaining and updating patient records, assisting clinical staff in matters of records, liaising with customers and patients and attend staff meetings when required.

- Demonstrated computer skills including word processing and data entry.

- Ability to perform filing and retrieval tasks.
- Working knowledge under the Privacy Act.
