**About Monash Health Pathology Service**
You will be joining Monash Health at an exciting time as we work in partnership with Alfred Health to be the premier shared public pathology service in Victoria. As a member of the pathology team you will be helping shape the direction of the partnership.
Monash Health Pathology is an integral part of Monash Health. It is the largest public provider of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 6 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional laboratories located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Victorian Heart Hospital and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There are currently 18 collection locations based within the hospital sites and community settings. Services are provided to the Public and Private sectors, and other laboratory services.
**About the Role - Full time Ongoing Permanent**
As a Specimen Services Laboratory Trainer, you will be responsible for specimen reception staff training, administrative duties, and ensure smooth functioning of the laboratory. It is essential you have trainer qualification or are willing to work towards one. You will be part of a 24-hour roster that rotates to other Monash locations as needed. It is essential you have flexibility in your working hours to be able to work across a range of sites. Health and Safety are essential requirements of the position in order to protect yourself and others. All personnel are required to wear approved safety glasses in conjunction with other personal protective equipment (provided by Monash Health).
