We are seeking **Permanent Full-Time and Casual Security Officers for 24/7 rotational and relieving officer rosters in** a range of health facilities and sites across metropolitan **Sydney.**

**If you have a genuine interest in providing compassionate support to patients, visitors and staff you will be part of a team providing frontline customer service and the protecting property and assets.**

You will be part of large teams committed to protecting others, dedicated to the role and embracing the opportunity to work during these challenging times. You will primarily be in roving positions patrolling premises, engaging with people and responding to incidents. You will work closely with and be well supported by a range of people, systems and processes including health and regulatory professionals. Full-time equivalent working hours plus opportunities for permanent flexible employment also available.**‍**

**Responsibilities and duties:
- Provide excellent customer service with compassion
- Provide roving patrols
- Monitor, respond and report relevant incidents
- Conform with precise policy and procedure
- Prepare general security records and reports.

**Skills and experience**
- Security License (NSW 1A)
- Covid-19 & Category A Vaccination (willing to complete)
- First Aid Certificate (current)
- CPR (current)
- Customer service experience (ideally in a health environment)
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Excellent presentation
- Attention to detail to conform with precise procedure
- Ability to work 24/7 rotating roster (or an agreed fixed roster)
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence (desirable, not required for all roles)
- Traffic Controller (or willing to obtain - desirable, not required for all roles)
- Hygiene Control Training (willing to obtain)
- Mask Fit Testing (essential seal)
- Preparedness to comply with personal health checks (including on a daily basis)

This is a Category A position. To be employed you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2020_017).

As a health worker you will be trained in and required to comply with a range of health and hygiene procedures and Respiratory Protection PPE (including P2/N95 masks if in high-risk areas). This may include mandatory fit check (user seal check), training and competency assessment and mask fit testing.
