- Reference The leading supplier within the Industrial Automation industry is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join their expanding team where you will be responsible for driving sales of their electrical switchgear and automation products.

**The Position**:

- Competitive salary package
- Developing sound business development and existing customer strategies.
- Sell an extensive range of products, including Electrical Switchgear and Automation Products (motor control, metering, PLCs, HMI’s, and Servos systems) to help customers achieve their business objectives and improve market penetration in this key area.
- Work in a role that allows you to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with key customers such as OEMs, Switchboard Builders, System Integrators, Electrical Contractors, and Wholesalers.
- Utilize your current network in the industry to drive sales and develop new business opportunities, while also building a detailed understanding of each customer's business to provide tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Enjoy the flexibility of working in servicing areas north of the Brisbane River, covering both Metro and limited Regional locations, with the support of a state office.

Essential Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales or business development role calling on customers in the Switchboard Builders, Electrical Contractors, or Electrical Wholesalers Industries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must be able to work under pressure while providing excellent customer service.
- Organized, driven, well presented, self-starter capable of building long term professional working relationships with customers.
- Capable of working independently within set guidelines.

Desirable Requirements:

- Current working relationships with Switchboard Builders, Electrical Contractors, or Electrical Wholesalers.
- SAP BI or similar ERP experience.
